Portals

CIFR maintains an integrated ecosystem of analysis portals that support research, teaching, and extension. The DeCIFR system and T-BAS pathogen surveillance portal provide centralized interfaces for tracking microbial diversity. A dedicated Seqera Platform server in the EDC datacenter offers a graphical interface for running Nextflow/nf-core workflows across VCL, HPC, and cloud environments, fully integrated with GitHub and DeCIFR. Multiple Galaxy servers support Center-wide research, broader use by the NC State and external research community, and also serve as teaching and training platforms for PP715. An additional Galaxy server supports BCH453/553 teaching. All portals connect directly to research storage in the EDC/VCL environment, ensuring scalable and secure data management.

Complementing these analysis platforms, the CCRPD serves as an online database for resource sharing and communication across three multi-institutional CCRP projects: MATRIX, INTERACT, and InRoot. It manages culture stock curation across these projects and provides standard search, filtering, and metadata-enriched visualization tools for seamless cross-project data analysis and sharing. The Wheat Alliance Database is an online platform that supports the exploration of microbiome-assisted breeding in wheat for sustainable plant nutrition. Integrated with the CCRPD, it enables users to identify key host determinants of a beneficial root microbiome in wheat.
