Hawkes receives Chancellor’s Innovation Fund

Congratulations to Dr. Christine Hawkes and her collaborator, Dr. Saad Khan for receiving one of this year’s Chancellor’s Innovation Funds.  The award will be used to investigate how endophytic fungi can help plants absorb essential nutrients.  Optimization of this endophytic fungi delivery method will enable farmers to increase crop yield with less fertilizer.
